Come to the OB Lounge to experience the AMAZING Travis Colby Band.
Travis will be playing from 5:30pm to 9:30pm on Top of Newport starting in May!!!

The Travis Colby Band is a high energy power trio that plays Funk, Blues, and R&B covers and originals. The members of the TCB are all multi-instrumental, which provides a big sound and versatility to the three piece band. They can also change orchestration and cater to lower volume jazz shows, private functions, and weddings. Here is some information about the ensemble:
Travis Colby has been playing piano and guitar professionally for many years, touring and recording with Grammy award winning Luther ‘Guitar Junior’ Johnson for a six year tenure and international recording artists Roomful of Blues from 2004-2012. Colby brings the energy and inspiration of these artists to his band, playing and singing a mixture of Blues, Jazz, Funk, R&B and original tunes fit to satisfy any crowd or venue. He was named ‘Best Keyboard Player’ three times in the long running “Blues Audience” magazine, and played on Luther Johnson’s Grammy nominated “Gotta Find a Way” in 2002, as well as three Roomful albums, “Standing Room Only”, “Raisin a Ruckus”, and “Hook, Line, and Sinker”.
Jeremy Kindsvatter, an Indiana native, has played bass for many years. He toured the country with the Jon Justice Band based out of Cincinnati for three years. He also plays saxophone, guitar, and piano. He studied at the University of Cincinnati – College Conservatory of Music. He has shared the stage with many notable artists including Tinsley Ellis, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and Watermelon Slim.
Keeping the beat strong and rhythm tight is Alex Chapman on drums. A powerful and versatile drummer, he can swing, funk, and rock with great feel and precision. He has played with Joe Parillo, George Garzone, The Empire Shall Fall, Kim Trusty, The Harlem Gospel Choir, Bored With Four, Matt Macaulay, Miss Wensday, Lonnie Gasperini, Mike Renzi, Symmetry, Dave Zinno, in addition to many more artists of national and international reputation.
Together these three formidable musicians make up the Travis Colby Band, playing a tasteful arrangement of covers and originals that gets feet moving, heads bopping, and people asking for more.
